PDD Gene Rivers

I am announcing that I am a candidate for the office of Department of California Jr. Past Commandant, 2008-2009.

It has been my privilege and honor to have previously served through the chairs, including Detachment Commandant of my home Hangtown Detachment #697in Placerville, California, as well as your Department Jr. Vice Commandant for two years, 2004-2006, and will have completed in June of this year two years as your Department Commandant. 

It is my desire to help continue with the work with all of you and the newly elected and appointed staff at our June 2008 Department Convention in Reno, and be involved in the work of transition and assist wherever needed in our beloved Marine Corps League.
