Gary Pittman Candidate for Department Jr. Vice Commandant

My name is Gary Pittman and I am the Junior Past Commandant of Detachment 942, Mt. Diablo in Lafayette, CA; Pound Keeper of Pound #47, Military Order of Devil Dogs; and also Department Region III Coordinator.  I am currently seeking the position of Department Junior Vice Commandant.

My goal is to increase membership through active recruitment.  I will regularly contact Detachment Junior Vice Commandants to stress the importance of recruitment of new members and retention of current members.  I will, upon request, make myself available to help the detachments in this endeavor and work closely with the staff in carrying out these goals.
